I hope this group is permanently taken down soon.  Its offensive, infantile, and hostile towards those that simply refuse to think exactly like you. 

EP SUPPORT - if you delete this story and I fully expect you to; please remove this group as it personally attacks a group of people that in no way have caused harm to these people.  My apologies, I have no tolerance for idiocy.

Please explain to me what is wrong with the mind set that the following are and should be basic human rights:

1. Marriage is a right; NOT a privilege. No one should be denied this right because of sexual orientation. (That's just stupid!)
2. Education is a right; NOT a privilege. No one should be denied a higher education because they cannot pay for college.  The more people we send to college the more money our government will get back in taxes.  This will pay for itself over and over again.
3. Birth control is a RIGHT and its a decision between me and my doctor.  Therefore, its protected by HIPAA, so its none of your damn business.  If a pharmacist cannot fill my prescription-he/she should lose his license. 
4. Abortion is a RIGHT and its a decision between me and my doctor.  Therefore, its protected by HIPAA, so take your protests somewhere else.  You are not going to change my mind.  I am highly educated and very intelligent and I know exactly where I stand.  Your signs, chants, prayers, whatever, is not going to sway me in the least.  If you really want to help mankind - go rally against child abuse.  Now they ARE victims that REALLY NEED a voice!
5. As an adult; it is your moral obligation to vote.  I have very little respect for people who do not vote.  Especially when they want to complain about the economy and the government.
6. Churches SHOULD BE TAXED!!!  Separation of Church and State does not apply to tax law.  This would alleviate the tax burden from the middle class families and eliminate deficit all with one stroke of a pen.  They have had their hands in the political cookie jar for far too without paying any entrance fees.  Well, their fees are now past due!
7. There is no place in this country for bigotry.  It should be prosecuted harshly against anyone at any level including police, politicians, or any other official as well as any member of society.
8. I am a capitalist.  People who work hard and put in their time at school should be paid for their efforts and hard work.

I am posting this in my blog as I am sure that it will eventually be deleted.  Hopefully, with some help from you, so will that group.

I recreated the group "I have been blocked by MySweetLord" which was originally created by MarkFree as the bastards of EP decided to delete it.  Its bullshit.  There are numerous stories and groups about me, for example, which are very negative and deogitory, but THEY REMAIN UP!  Im an atheists - so its ok to bash me.  But MySweetLord loves imaginary people so we cannot attack her character even when she states that she enjoys watching people being tortured to death.  HELLO....DID I MISS SOMETHING????

Please tell my why this group, originally created by MarkFree was removed.  It was within your parameters.  It did not call anyone names.  It raised two ligitemate questions.

1. What did MySweetLord mean when she said "The Joke is on YOU, I have reported you to EP Support" to MarkFree?  This personal message seems quite inappropriate based on the comment he made to her story.  She rattled on about how much she enjoyed watching blatant physical violence against a human being.  Frankly, I find that quite distrubing and one serious character flaw. 
2. What is wrong with MarkFree asking the questions, "So do you enjoy other snuff films?" Its only fitting that if she enjoyed one snuff film, The Passion of Christ, that she probably enjoyed many of them.  It seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me.

To clarify, when I say snuff film, I am going off of the Wikipedia definition: "A snuff film or snuff movie is a motion picture genre that depicts the actual death or murder of a person or people, without the aid of special effects, for the express purpose of distribution and entertainment or financial exploitation. Though deaths have been captured on film, snuff films as commonly defined are generally regarded as an urban legend.[1]"

So I think anyone that condones such violence against anyone, even fictious characters, and actually ENJOYS said violence, is seriously mentally disturbed.  I would even wager that I could find multiple psychiatrists and psychologists that would agree with me 100 percent on my assessment.

Your censorship here only shows your bias and this is increasingly irritating and obviously discriminatory.  You need to take a good hard look at your so called xtians on this site and all their stories and groups.  Many of these people are the most vile, hateful, biggoted, wrectched dispicable people on the internet.  Some are even preditators hiding under the skirt of religion - yet you protect them over the well mannered, well behaved atheist - simple because we choicea higher ethical and moral ground than your so called friends.  ITS  DISGUISTING!  SHAME ON YOU!

If you check my response to this pig you will see there was nothing "nervous" about my answer.  This guy is simply a pig.  If you ask a chauvenistic question on line in an open foruem, be prepared for answers and responses you do not like from us woman who have no problem kicking you in the balls or grabbing you by the balls to show YOU who is boss there bud!

Well the kids raked in so much candy and chocolate from last night, their dad said we can now qualify as Swedish citizens.  The three kids brought home at least 2-3 pounds EACH!  (I go through the candy, the "good" candy like the chocolate and the candy that doesnt have the halloween decorations and stick it in the freezer for Christmas.  Then all I have to buy is candy canes for their stockings!  Its just too much candy to go through otherwise.)

My oldest son, 9, dressed up as Indiana Jones.  He looked great.  The costume I bought him at Toys R Us was kind of cheapie - so he completely improvised.  He wore his dark tan cordaroys with a white button down shirt then the Indiana Jones leather jacket.  He also had the had.  I think he was the only Dr. Jones out last night.  He LOVED his costume.  He looked great too.

The middle child, he'll be three on December 9, dressed up as a vampire.  He wore black dress pants with a satin ribbon down each side.  Then a white button down shirt with a gold leafed vest.  It had a red tie that had a bat on it.  It wasnt a regular tie or a bow tie.  Its was a vampire tie if there is such a thing.  Then he wore black shoes.  His cape was awesome.  It was a nice heavy satin.  It was black on the back and red on the inside.  It was long and went down to the mid of his calf if not a little longer. 

The baby, 11 1/2 months now.  She was dressed up as Tinkerbell, which is so fitting because her nickname is "Lia Belle"  My mom got her outfit from the Disney store so it was quite extravagant as I am sure you can imagine.  I dressed her with white tights and I white onzie and put her in her white dress shoes.  She looked absolutely adorable.  She loved her little outfit too.  She kept saying she was "prepre" (pretty).

So I took the kids around the neighborhood.  About midway through, Tinkerbell "crashed" and fell asleep in the stroller.  Then Count Xander decided he wanted a ride too so he got into the stroller too (Its a side-by-side double stroller)  He said this was the WAY to trick-or-treat!  I was so proud of my boys because they said "thank you" at each house without being prompted.

There is a reason psychologists, psychiatrists, and pediatricians advise parents against spanking.  Its simply not because they are "hippies".    There is a way to get through to the most stubborn child without hitting them.  Simply read, "Try & Make Me" by Ray Levy.  I highly recommend that book.  These strategies work well on most age groups.  There is absolutely no excuse to hit a baby or a toddler (a child under 24 months).  A child at that age simply cannot distinguish between right and wrong.  They just know they want to please you.  Also children at this age are 100 percent dependent on you to take care of every one of their needs.  When they fuss; they are not being "brats" or "disobedient" they are communicating a need that you need to address; whether it be putting them down for a nap, feeding them, changing them, or cuddling them.

Parents CAN raise respectful, productuve members of society WITHOUT hitting or beating their children.  Require that they help with household chores.  Hold them accountable for their actions.  Make them accept the consequences of their actions (within reason).  Natural consequences, I have found are the best teachers.  Example: "Please dont run in the house!  SMACK!  [Kid runs into wall and starts crying.]  I say, "That is why I said not to run in my house."  Check to ensure there is no serious injury but I dont give the kid sympathy.  Next time, he will think twice before running in my house. 

I dont tolerate temper tantrums.  I dont spank when my kid throws them either.  I simply remove my child from that envirnonment and put them to bed.  I firmly say, "I am very sorry you are feeling so upset but you cannot act like that (where ever we are).  You can get out of bed when you are done."  I close the door.  They usually will exhaust themselves into a deep sleep and wake up in a much better mood.   This works for me.  So far it has worked on two out of three kids.  (The youngest isnt there yet; she's only 11 months)

When my baby girl tries to stick her fingers into the electrical outlets; I do not smack her hands or fingers.  I simply say, "No, No, OUCHIE!"  Then put the outlet cover back into the outlet (if we are at home) and distract her with a toy. Sometimes she protests; sometimes she doesnt.  But regardless, Im not going to let her electrocute herself and I am not going to smack her for being exploring her environment.

When my oldest fights with his brother, I give him extra chores so he has an immediate outlet for his aggression.  I usually start with scrubbing all the bathrooms.  I start with that one because he hates it the most.  If he changes his attitute then when he is done with all the bathrooms; all is forgiven and he can continue playing.  If not, I simply go down my list and give him more chores.  I have never had to give him more than three.  I will do this will all three kids - and will have the CLEANEST house in my neighborhood!  (Lets face it; no one's perfect.)  :)

Spanking children causing more harm than good.  It causes aggression and mental illness.  It causes the trust and loving bond between parent and child to break down.  It increases their likelihood for depression during childhood and adulthood.  It impairs their self esteem.   I recommend the site.  http://www.stopspanking.com

So I went to check on the posts and comments in the lovely group, "I Know Atheism Kills" created by BlackSheep, and couldn't access it.  Sorry, but that group was so far out there; even us ardant atheists had to laugh a little bit.  Its was a "wow, this guy is a little scary" laugh but without humor life is depressing.  Plus I like to have fun and I like to laugh.  So, I chose to laugh, as I hope many of you did as well.

Well I guess someone flagged it as inappropriate, as it was.  And EP Support actually did something about it.  Sorry, but I am surprised; pleasantly surprised, but still surprised. 

For those of you whom are not familar with Atheism.  Most of us are very humanistic and you will not find a group of people who have a stronger and more centered moral compass.  We love.  We laugh.  We live.  Just without the restrainst of religion.  Its quite liberating.  No guilt.  ;)  Hope you all have a splendid day!

I dont care who in the hell you are.  You cannot use your holy book, to prove the existence of your alledged deity.  It doesn't work that way; that is NOT proof.  Proof is factual evidence; The bible is nothing but fairy tales and that I can prove.

My son got the "Water Clock" for his 9th birthday.  It is the coolest thing ever.  You make the battery out of household items, hook up the wires and it runs the clock.  My 9 year old did it himself without any trouble.  It really worked.  Now he wants to try it with peanut butter.  Silly kid.

I HATE ignorant people.  I dont discriminate either.   If you're ignorant - I HATE YOU!  I have absolutely no tolerance for following people:

• Abusers
• Those that trivialize abuse in any form
• Those whom knowingly spread falsehoods and half-truths (the atheists know where Im going here).
• The high and mighty types
• Bullies
• Those whom refuse to educate themselves.

Making fun of people who are trying to make this a better world for everyone else is not going to earn you your coveted spot in your heaven nor is it going to make life any better now.

Atheist Universe by David Mills: I wasn't impressed with this book as all it seemed to do was repeat everything Christopher Hitchens said in his book God is Not Great.

Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon by Daniel C. Dennett.  I really enjoyed this book.  It took an evolutionary approach to religion which was intriguing.  I enjoyed the book and would recommend it for a little bit of a heavier reading experience.

God is Not GREAT by Christopher Hitchens.  I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE read this book.  This is an excellent read with excellent points.   I LOVE this book.  Its by far my favorite book of all time.

Everything You Know About God is Wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Religion by Russ Kick. This is a good read. It is very informative and some of its content is extremely disturbing.  Its definately not for the faint of heart.

Fighting Words: A Toolkit for Combating the Religious Right by Robin Morgan.  This is a short and sweet read.  I really liked it and I read the book in less than a day.  I also highly recommend her book The Burning Time.  That is a GREAT read.

Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman.  This was my very first book in my journey to atheism.  I got this book when I was still a theist.  This book is  neutral to theists and atheists but takes an educated and scientific look at the bible and its errors.  It a good read and quite informative.

The Portable Atheist: Essential Readings for the Nonbeliever.  Some of the stories were captivating and others dragged.  All in all it was very informative and I recommend the book. 

The Quotable Atheist: Ammunition for Nonbelievers, Political Junkies, Gadflies, and Those Generally Hell-Bound by Jack Huberman.  Honestly, I bought this book because I loved the title.  It was a fun read.  I learned some new things and enjoyed the book.

I would love to continue to build my personal ATHEIST library, so any recommendations would be very welcomed.  Thank you!
